[It's been hell of crazy as of late, down in Afghanistan - or, more specifically, somewhere in its mountains, thankfully far from the populated centers. While chasing after a lead on a powerful Relic, some Aegis Kai Doru operatives had ended up stumbling upon an old laboratory of Grendal's. Said old lab had been full of de-activated Wrecks - that is, disfigured monstrosities that were the result of experimenting with Umbra. Said Wrecks had promptly come to life.
That might explain why Zangyaku oni-tsukai were all over the place now, killing them, searching for other labs, and killing more of them. Just might.
As such, Saxon and Breton are hanging around close to the Zangyaku hangar deck, watching the portal, smoking their cigarettes. Their girl was coming soon, along with a bunch of other operatives from Kibo.
[ She's the first to step through, looking a bit impatient. (She'd gotten a little bored at the briefing. Just a little.) She scans the area and immediately finds the twins and makes a beeline for them. Never wasted much time, Yulia. ]
Sorry I'm late. [ Not really. ] I had to take care of a few things before coming here. [ Like last night's party for Josh, but they don't need to know that. ]
[That's from them both as they're making a beeline to the armory. Most of the others that came with Yulia are trailing behind, now joined by their own mentors.]
We're about ready to go on a run, so like we promised? You're with us. Got any questions?
Just one. [ She's tying her hair back, now. She wouldn't really ask questions usually, but she knows Hikaru is here, so... ] How much did he leave for me-- us to take care of?
[ Oh man, look at all the shiny. She's a little practical with the things she takes; mostly items that balance her out, help her minimize her weak points. She doesn't take too many, either, since it would just slow her down.
[The Brands, on the other hand, have everything they need already. As such, they spend their time smiling, tossing greetings at the other operatives that move in and out of the armory.]
[ She just grins because she loves how they think. And also bikes. And also fighty-fighty soon. Four labs should probably be enough to keep her-- them busy the whole day. ]
REALLY busy. The good kind of busy. You know, where things die and put up just enough of a fight to make things interesting
Both of them are laughing now, as you're riding in, as you're all plopping down at a camp fire. Breton's bringing out the booze: Saxon is already tossing his pack in Yulia's direction.]
[ If she's smiling and giggling along with them, it's because she's riding a high she hasn't felt since forever. (Or it could still be the stuff they smoked the night before, at Joshua's party. She couldn't tell.)
She catches the pack of cigarettes with ease, taking one out to light up before she's trading it for a bottle of whatever Breton is passing out. She's still smiling, almost preening, definitely bristling with pride as much as Saxon is. ]
I am glad you think so. I do like to keep myself in good form.
[Both of them laugh, but the delay before they do is a second too long. That's a tell on their part, and - if that wasn't enough - there's the fact that Saxon is turning away to take a REALLY long swig from his bottle, and Breton is definitely paying a bit too much attention to his cigarette.]
Doubt we can bank on him NOT doing that for a while.
[ Of course she notices. She's still miffed about the text messages, but that's ok. She genuinely adores Saxon and Breton, so they are forgiven. They're kind if really adorable, the way they are now, looking like sad little puppies. Not that she would ever say that aloud. ]
Yeah... he's kind of not listening to anyone from our end. Even his mom.
[Tohru had been the one to tell them as much, and while the Assassin had not said a word about his own attempts, it had been clear in his tone that he had tried too.]
You're a Hound, which kinda makes you guys the new kids on the block. Maybe it'll be enough to drag him out of his funk?

This was going to be fun.]

[That's Saxon. Breton, in the meantime, is already grinning and preparing to lead them all away.]
We'll take you down to the armory. Want to cool your heels off a little, or get started immediately?

Breton, on the other hand, gets an almost-smile. ]
We can start as soon as possible, I do not mind.

[That's Breton. The Philippines, as you know, is too soft for his tastes. He only likes the country because most of his famiry is there.]

Da, that felt good. You should take me with you more often.

[There's Saxon, laughingly.]

[Breton, that one.]
Because other colder places are kind of boring.
[Saxon, with a sigh.]

I thought as much.
I suppose anywhere will do. As long as he doesn't hog all the fun.

Just barely.]
Uh, his tent is over there!
[Saxon is the one pointing.]
