Does he? I actually think that he's one of the few people in the Fifth World can see what people are really like, or what they can become.

I guess that is what makes it weird? Because not everyone does, and you have to look really hard to make any connection. If there is any. No, not by our definition. We differentiate between temporary screw-ups and permanent fuck ups.

People make mistakes - that's just how things are. But not all people end up digging their holes so deep that they can't get out, or digging holes and stuffing other people into them.
