[ Let's just assume that they fast forward to where they get to Brianna's car, and they're on the way.
There's this bakery Brianna knows about that sells the cutest cakes. She figured that Yulia would get a kick out of it. Conveniently, they serve coffee too! But she'll yet Yulia decide. ]
[ At the bakery, Yulia is mesmerized. She's heard of those artisanal cakes, but she's never really bothered to really look at them until now. Yes, she's had cake, and they were sometimes decorated nicely, but the cakes behind the glass display took the decorations on a whole new level.
She catches herself before she touches the glass, shoves her hands in her pockets. ]
My family likes buying cakes here. We like giving out personalized cake, especially if the person means a lot to us. Plus, it's a bonus that they are just so cute and pretty.
[ She turns to her side to face Yulia. ] So. You've spent way more time with Magistrate Shinta than I have, what do you think?
I'm not exactly sure if the Magistrate has a preference for cake flavors but... [ She glances back at the display of cakes, trying to see if there's anything that stands out and screams 'Kalika'.
She points at one after a moment, smiling. ] That one. I think Sister Cat will like that.
[ Hm! She cocks her head to one side, eyeing the display then looking over to Yulia. ]
I don't see why not. Cake goes with coffee, after all!
[ She proceeds to ask one of the people manning the cake display if they could have free samples - just little cake squares. They are ordering coffee here anyway. This is also an opportunity for Brianna to know what Yulia's taste buds prefer - both in coffee and in cakes. :3 ]
[ While Brianna's talking to one of the staff, Yulia's looking over the menu for coffee at a booth (it's more private than the open tables across the bakery/cafe). She's not surprised that there's a whole page dedicated for variations of the caffeinated drink, abd she smiles when she sees a particular menu item she wasn't quite expecting to see at a bakery. She orders the Irish coffee(go figure, right?). ]
[ Brianna returns with a tray with small slices of cake, followed by one of the staff with another tray. She sets it down and sits in front of Yulia. ]

Wow. That is incredibly cute. I wholeheartedly agree!
[ Good job, Yulia ;w; Brianna barely had to nudge Yulia to pick out something cute ;w; ]

[ It was a row of cats, how could she not pick one of them?
And then Yulia has a thought. ]
Do you think... we could taste their cakes before we give it to the Magistrate?

That is a lot of cake. Are you sure we can go through all of this before the party tonight?
